Face Mask Set – Etsy, $13.90 for a set of 3 super cute polka dot masks.
Foundation – Revlon, $9.16 (Color: Ivory, for me…I am as pale as pale can get). I really really really love Revlon cosmetics. Not only has the brand been around for forever, but their foundations and powders always match my skin without leaving a weird line. They’re also really great with coverage but are also still breathable.
What is your go-to summer color? I love a beautiful bright green! Let me know what colors you would like to see in future outfits!
I’m starting a new series where I explore fashion from the early 2000s and beyond using old magazines as inspiration. I am going to bring these outfits up to date by modernizing them a bit but retaining their essence. These posts will be tagged accordingly under “Flashback Fashion” and “2000s” or the appropriate decade. It is a little more modern than the typical vintage posts, but I love the idea of using all of my old magazines as inspo. Hopefully readers enjoy it as much because it’s been a lot of fun to make these!
To start, I’ve used an outfit from Teen magazine, January 2001, as worn by Mandy Moore. This was back in Mandy’s blonde “Candy” days. She is wearing a Jessica McClintock top & ABS by Allen Schwartz pants. Here is an updated version of her look!
